Good Laptop Processor?

Solution
No. Nothing wrong with buying the laptop through Amazon. I believe you also get additional customer support from Amazon if you have issues with your purchase.

I only suggested purchasing it directly from XoticPC so that better thermal paste would be used that's all.

Ummm I'm not sure on that add there. I wouldn't trust it because there is not Intel A4 as the site says or an Apple A4 as you say. That just seems. Weird. Looks like a scam to me. Also Gigabyite wouldn't have an "Apple" CPU in it and Apple hasn't made CPU's in over a decade. They used IBM PowerPC CPU's

I am guessing that is totally incorrect info posted at Amazon.

The Apple A4 is an ARM based single core CPU that is used in Apple products. Even if there are dual core variants, they are not capable of running Windows because they are ARM CPUs and do not have the correct instruction sets.

Intel A4 CPU? Totally does not exist. Apple A4 CPU, in a laptop? You must be joking.

Maybe the AMD A4-5000 APU? Why stick a weak APU meant for low end laptop and tablets in a relatively expensive gaming laptop?

Ignore that link.

Hmm interesting. Someone posted that link on another thread of mine:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2179724/gaming-laptop-suggestions.html

I'm trying to get the best gaming laptop for $12,999 or less.

I think this is the same laptop:
http://www.xoticpc.com/gigabyte-p27gv2cf1-preorder-p-7126.html

Are the specs detailed differently on this website?

Whoa!!! $12,999?!?!? Getting a laptop with a paint job that is using real gold flakes? Using crushed high quality diamond in your thermal paste since diamonds have among the best heat transfer properties in the world?

Yeah, pretty sure it is the same laptop. I recommended the previous generation of the model to some people in the past.

So the laptop on Amazon is legit? And you think it's good for heavy gaming?

While I might be able to purchase the laptop from XoticPC's website, would it be a sin to get it from Amazon if I had to?
