I have a Toshiba Satellite S4777 for a long time (about 7 years) and it is perfect for my home need. About 6 months ago it began showing a unusual behaviour. It instantly freezes when I plug the power cord and does not even start to load the BIOS (after rebooting by holding the power button). I can use it normally on DC (battery) throughout all the battery charge with no problem. As soon as I try to connect the power source to the AC line it freezes. The same happens whe running on 127V, 220V and when trying to power it with no battery connected. The battery charges normally and works fine. Any idea?
