PC Case fans

Hey guys, so my PC is almost ready to go soon! (just waiting on that 4790k)
I need to know.
I am having some trouble choosing case fans.
I can do the colors and CFM, and dba, and stuff.
I would like an explanation on pressure.
What is static pressure, high pressure, what does it all mean?

Static pressure determines how well the fan can push air through restrictive spaces like a heatsink. A static pressure fan can push air through a heatsink (where airflow is restricted to tiny gaps) much better than a non-static fan. Personally, I stock all my fans with static pressure fans because it works with heatsink and without.

i prefer corsair fans, they have SP (static pressure) model and the other (forgot lol)

Yeah the Corsair SP120 are really nice and color customizable for your build. The best one I know of is the Noctua NF-F12. It has a very ugly design, but it performs very well and the low-voltage adapter makes it insanely quiet.

I wont be needing a CPU fan, as I'm going with the H105 closed loop.
However I have a back fan, the 2 bottom fans, the 2 fans on the HDDs, the fan below the HDDs, the fan blowing across the HDDs, and 2 side fans.
I have no idea what fans to use for them.
I'm not sure if I need a SP fan or not.

if it's corsair, for heatsinks use the SP model (sp120, etc, i think it's good for the hdd too), for other (side panels, etc) use AF (not sure if it's af, you can check the site)

I see. Well then, what kinda fan should I use for side vents pulling air in, the back one, and the ones for my HDD cages?

Just use SP fans. It doesn't perform badly on regular intake with no obstacles in the way. It's not as good as AF in that case, but honestly, I like to have diversity in my case so if a fan happens to die, I can move any fan to anywhere.

well, yeah, if i have to choose one, then just buy SP. i also like that it comes in 3 colors (bands, not the whole fan)

enjoy, just try to clean the insides from time to time, don't be like me hahaha
i tend to only clean whenever there is a new part to be installed, you know, gotta clean the house if there is a visitor
