Hello! I am going to try to sell my laptop and build a gaming desktop instead seeing as my laptop just sits in one spot on my desk and never moves anyway. I'm going to try to sell it locally using CraigsList. I was wondering what everyone here though I might be able to get for it. I know computers don't typically hold their value, but it was a $1,800 laptop when I bought it about a year and a half to two years ago (I got it for $1,500 using a discount I get through work). Here are the specs:

HP dv7t High Performance Quad Edition
Intel i7-3610QM Quad Core 2.3Ghz
8Gb DDR3 1600
Windows 8.1 64bit
Dual 750GB 5400RPM hard drives (1.5TB total)
32Gb mSSD
Blu-Ray player & HDMI out
17" Full HD 1080p anti glare screen
Nvidia GT650m graphics with 2GB dedicated memory

Thanks for any feedback!

*Edit: Darn, I really meant to make this a conversation and not a question&answer type of thing. I guess I missed that check box at the bottom...

We a new PC like that is probably $1000 or so. If you have no warranty left on it, and it's in great shape with a clean install, I imagine $600 or so would be easy to get. If there is a reasonable amount of warranty left, maybe $700.
