I have a 2.1 sound system from logitech, One of the satellites just stopped working and it's the one that controls the volume with the on/off button. Is there a fix? Or is it totally broken and needs replacing. Btw, the subwoofer is right next to it.

More about : break speaker lol

Umm check the wiring.. is there a power light on the one that controls the volume?

Check the manufacturers warranty for that product and you may be able to get a replacement for free.

No replacement.Perhaps a wire is broken inside. Try tracking that first.

Does the rest if it still work? I assume not, but I would start with basuic troubleshooting. It the power adapter plugged in snugly, and does the AC outlet work. If it doesn't turn on, it is likely toast. If it just 'stopped' without specific action, such as lightning or getting kicked, it probably is the power supply. You didn't say what model, so it's hard to know what you are looking at.

The rest works. Only that speaker doesn't. The power led is on.

Sounds like faulty wiring. Check your warranty first then maybe open up that speaker and check the connection

Where do I check the warranty? These are very old anyways. I'm just wondering if there are solutions to fix it. I'm just using these until I get new ones.

I'll take a go at opening it.

I opened it... then checked all the connections but didn't see anything wrong. But suddenly it works again...

Yea most likely its just the wiring. You shifted the weight around a bit

Like a flickering light you know.. loose connection then when you tighten it it stays on
