Note that the tumer suggested is an analog tuner. If you need a digital tuner in your area or with your setup, you will need adifferent device. If you have 'cable TV', such as Comcast, the suggested card will work fine, but might also need a set-top box.
Update - brain cramp -- you said you had a set-top box - this adapter will work fine, as long as the drivers work. It is only stated to support through Windows XP, and there may not be drivers...
