How do I know I am recording on my SSD harddrive and not my HDD? I have the samsung EVO 840, and am recording with fraps set video capture to 150 FPS. People all over say that recording on a second hard drive helps a TON but I see little to no improvement of FPS in game. I have my game Installed on my HDD at 7200 rpm and I am saving my recording on my SSD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Actually it's fine to have Fraps and the game on the same harddrive, the thing you want on a separate hard drive is the 'target' for saving the generated video (basically where it says "Folder to save movies in" should be a separate harddrive from the one the game is on :p)

For example: Fraps & Minecraft on Drive C, "Folder to save movies in" should be Drive D (or F, or whatever letter :p)
