I'm not even sure what the correct terminology is, so I can't even Google a query 
It's really quite simple and I bet there are a lot of options. Basically I am running XBMC on my Ubuntu 14.04 desktop in my office. I'd like to transmit the audio/video to my TV in the next room over. Other than running a 50ft HDMI 
what are my options?
The TV is "smart" (though I never use the feature) and I have an old Google Logitech Revue hooked up to it now.
