Hey Guys i have a really anoying probleme with my new Lenovo Laptop. When i put the charger in, it runs slower than o battery. For example if i want to play a game and want to plugg it in so that it wont use the battery my performance is affected. I do not have eny power manager drivers instaled except the usual Windows power manager. I had one instaled but was pretty much useless and i've deleted it. Please help, i dont know what to do and its very anoying.

Go into the Advanced Power Options. Under something like Processor Performance make sure that the CPU is set to operate at 100% when plugged in.

Try going to Lenovo's site and look for a Power Management driver update.

I am not sure what the problem could be then.

You may want to try to do a factory reset which re-installs Windows. Sometimes things do not install properly. This does not happen very often, but it does happen. Perhaps that will fix your issue.

If it is really new, then you should be able to return it for a refund if it cannot be resolved. This is generally better than trying get it serviced.

It seems that the probleme would be something with the "Hard disk driver power saver'" . Do you know by chance enything of this? I should have one more menu by the power saver but it seems that the laptop does not suport it somehow. Is there eny other option for me? or another location from wich i can manage this hard disk driver power saver thing?
