My Samsung 5.1 doesn't sound right when playing audio CD's or DVD's with only 2 channel sound. The left and right speaker's are very very low while the center speaker is loud. Radio, and the front and rear analog inputs work fine with sound from the front left and front right speaker only.

Solution
your centre speaker will sound louder for 2 channel audio, thats the way it's designed. It may also be that the centre channel is turned up louder than the L &R. If you can, just set it to stereo mode rather than dolby surround(or whatever that samsung device supports) for listening to music, it normally sounds better. But sounds like you need the correct remote to set it up properly as others have suggested..

It's a HT-Z320, It has no remote so I'm using a universal GE remote which doesn't seem to have all the features as the oem remote.

I plan on buying a regular samsung remote. I think It might be do to simulated surround sound, I was listening to a CD and heard different sounds for all the speakers..
