Hey guys.
Do any of you know a gaming laptop that could be used for light gaming? Here are my requirements.

-15 or 17 inch screen
-1920 by 1080 resolution or higher
-Portable! (Under 8 pounds)
-No Alienware
-Could play games like Team Fortress 2, Maplestory (if you know what that is), and league of legends with no lag
-Needs to have a Premium price point, 2500 bucks or less. I don't want to have a sucky laptop. I need it to be longlasting.
-NEEDS TO HAVE GREAT BATTERY LIFE. This is the key requirement for me. I just need a good laptop that could play those games so i dont really need a fancy Nvidia 870M to play.
-Slim and sexy
-Preffered brands are razer and msi, but you could recommend anything that isn't alienware.

I would really appreciate it if you would give me some suggestions. Thank you very much

MSI GS70 (17.3") and GS60 (15.6") laptops are pretty nice and one of the MSI GS70 models is $1600. Though i've read some reviews saying the battery life could be better, but just in my opinion, I would be leaving a gaming laptop plugged in.

MSI GS70
- 0.85" thick
- 5.37 lbs
- quad core i7
- 860M gpu
- 12GB RAM

Thank you. Do you know a laptop with bettery battery life that could still play games?

Most light powerhouse laptops are generally expensive so I recommend checking out the Razor Blade 14 inch laptop (http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade/) it weights 4.47lbs and it has one of the most impressive technical specs of any ultralight laptop.

However, the price is exorbitant and it will run you atleast $2,199 depending on the SSD storage.

MSI also has an ultralight powerhouse it costs $1,699 and weighs 4.37lbs (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...). The difference between the Razer and the MSI is mostly the graphics card, which is about a 10-15% performance difference.

Hope this helps :) These are probably the lightest and most powerful gaming laptops in the market!

Im thinking about the razer blade PRO 2014. Would you recomend it?

For the value, I would say it's okay. It's not extremely lightweight and the internal specs are pretty good, but the price is the only downside. You can get laptops with better internal specs at a better price.

However, if you like the aesthetic of the Razer laptop and the brand, I would say go for it. :)

I'm not too sure there are a lot of ultra portable gaming laptop options left. I'd go for the Razer since you seem to want a premium item that has a great battery life.

I'd check out Gigabyte P35 series laptops, however, I believe that inventory of these series are limited (My company is back ordered on them).
