I was doing the same thing up untilmy recent purchase of the Sager NP8268-S. When do you need it by? I will post my exact build if you're interested but you should also be very specific with what your budget and needs are. I plan on running benchmarks so if you have another week - I will give you an update on its performance. I can tell you that for $2600 it should smoke the high end macbook pro.
I teach digital art and design courses so I plan on using this Sager for running the entire Adobe Design Suite and video editing and animation apps.
