All 3 of my laptops crash upon starting up the first time.

My acer, running Windows 7, BSODs and despite my settings, it will always dump in 2 nanoseconds and automaticially restart, never actually dumping the BSOD, making it impossible to get the STOP code, then it'll start up to a black screen with my cursor and will never proceed, restart the computer a third time and it'll start up fine, it never gives me the "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" box ever.

My HP laptop, also running Windows 7, flashes the BSOD and doesn't dump despite my settings as well, but the second startup it'll just sit on "Starting Windows" and the third startup is perfectly fine.

My Compaq laptop, running Ubuntu 12.04, kernel panics and of course, flashes that, second startup Ubuntu just sits at the startup screen like the HP laptop.
The third startup? Perfectly fine.

What's going on? Why is this happening? All of my desktops start up fine, no issues on the desktops.

Both laptops that have event viewer show "Kernel Power" with event ID 41, a critical event.

There are 2 errors with "volmgr" that say "Crash dump initialization failed" That explains the non existent dumping.
