i had a short happen to where i could only either use the headphones or the mic, but not both at the same time because the original connector had the connections combined as one piece with two plugins. the audio would only work partially plugged in. while the mic still needed to be fully plugged in. i bought some solder-less phone plugs which do work, as i have gotten the headphones portion of the headset to work. I opened the wire up and inside there is a red, green, red/green striped wire, and a black wire which contained a bare wire and a white wire
, im assuming this was for the microphone part but i havent gotten it to work yet. i got the headphones to work with just the red, and red/green wire which is really confusing to me. any help as to connect what pieces to where in regards to the tip, ring and sleeve?
