I have a Macbook that I'm fixing up, and the only thing I have left to do is install the OS (I plan to use Linux). I cannot use the laptop in its current state. The hard drive is corrupt and need an OS re-install. I am currently on a Windows 7 laptop (64-bit). I was planning to download the "64-bit Mac (AMD64)" Linux OS. http
/www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/ Then burn this to a disk and install it on my Macbook. I just want to make sure that this is the right download and that my Macbook can run 64-bit OS.
