Is it better to buy a laptop now or wait

I have decided to buy the ASUS X550LB-NH52

and was wondering if it is worth it to wait until the end of summer. I am not in need of a laptop currently but I will need one for school and didn't know if a better laptop would be available in a few months around the same price range. Or if Newegg has back to school sales on laptops, I am new to all this. Thanks for any input in advance.

From all the new laptops that were just announced yesterday, most are either out or released q4 which would be past start of school. From everything ive seen from the offering released yesterday, no laptop is taking place of another, theyre all totally different models as well (most are small/slim/light). So the ones out now wouldnt get any price cut either.

that is a quality laptop with great overall performance and great battery saving cpu. a few months from now you would still expect the same performance from laptops at such price tag. i would by that laptop.
