Hello, I have a shure sm7b and there's a little bit of a hiss in the feed. Does anyone know of any lowpass filter software where it doesn't fix when recording, but instead fixes it while using it on skype or when using it on other communication programs? if not does anyone know of any software or hard ware that could get rid of this hiss?

Solution
Hi
One method for reducing hiss would be to plug the microphone into a mixer with EQ,adjust the EQ for minimum hiss then output the feed to your computer at quite a high volume level then reduce the microphone gain level of your computer to bring the level back to normal .This reduction of gain on the computer reduces the hiss as well and will often make it inaudible.
