'FN' and the 'U' keys to produce the number four

The number four on my laptop keyboard doesn't work so I have been using 'FN' and the letter 'U', but all of a sudden instead of typing the number four, the cursor is going back one space.

Hi Twins96
Does the keyboard not have a keypad/numberpad aswell you can use the number 4 ? ,
a way out might be to post a note or a text on your desktop containing the number 4 and then just copy and paste , i know its a pain but if you cant type it you can copy and paste
EDIT: might be time to get a new keyboard
