So I've narrowed down my choice to either of these.

Lenovo Y410p High-Performance 14" Multimedia Laptop from Lenovo | Lenovo (CA)

IdeaPad Y510p High-Performance 15.6" Multimedia Laptop from Lenovo | Lenovo (CA)

My main concern is over which is the best deal for what each laptop is. I like the small form factor of the 14" model, but the 15.6" has the 1920x1080 resolution. Is it my understanding that the Y510p has a matte screen? If so, that is a plus because I dislike the glossy screen of my current three year old Toshiba laptop. I got the chance some months ago to handle the Y510p, though, and I found it overly large and clunky compared to what I'm used to, which is a 14" screen. Is there that much of a difference in screen quality for it to be worth the extra size and weight?

Also, I notice the Y410p has the GT755M gpu while the Y510p has the GT750M. Is there much of a difference in that regard? I am partly buying this laptop to game (though I do have a dedicated desktop for that.) These days I mostly play The Sims 3 and SimCity on my PC and save the heavier stuff for my PS4, but with the upcoming release of Sims 4 I would like something that is both mobile and can handle games decently.

Hm, what else... I notice the Y510p has a 24gb SSD which I assume the OS is installed on... does that improve performance? Also the two differing network cards in each model. Anything which should be mentioned in that regard?

Whew, I think that's all I have to ask about. Bottom line--which laptop would you pick?

I'd like to make this purchase ASAP, so I would very greatly appreciate a response! :)

Thank you!

If money is not a problem, then you should pick the y510 (sli model), it is the only laptop which can run any hardware hungry game at 1080p maxed out with minimum of 30fps. It is the perfect gaming laptop after Alienware 14 and is in the top 10 smart buy list of 2014 in many sites.
Get the SLI GT750 model, if you want a proper gaming laptop.

That is the $909 model, right? If so then the extra $100 isn't an issue, I just thought the GT750M was a step down from the 755 with the mediocre amount of research I did! So do I have that backwards? Haha. Thanks for the response!
