I have an Acer Aspire V5-572P-6818 that the keyboard no longer works properly. I think it got something spilled on it or something. Anyway, I need to get the keyboard replaced. I have looked everywhere I can find for a keyboard and a way to replace it, but have found nothing. I found a couple sites that say they sell the keyboard, but I am puzzled on how to replace it. I have replaced keyboards on other laptops and it was easy, but this one is very different. This is one of the newer ones where the keys pop out of the top.

Anyway, I am hoping to find a replacement video or at least something like a service manual or diagram as to how the keyboard is attached. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I pulled up a better picture of your model... Your right. It appears your keyboard is integrated into the palmrest...

I did a similar Samsung like this and the keyboard is connected to the palmrest by 50 or so plastic rivets that must be severed just to remove the old keyboard from the palmrest panel. the Macbooks are the same way, but they use 70 or so screws in place of the rivets. I ended up having to glue the new keyboard in place at each of the rivet points. A real pain in the arse to say the least.

You may want to price the entire palmrest assembly if you want to keep your sanity.
