Lately, I have not been able to install programs from the internet. I downloaded uTorrent, but I get a .dll error. I try to install Dropbox, it hangs on the install. I run a virus scan on my computer nothing comes up. Please help!

:hello:

Kindly I ask your attention.

Could you be so kind and at some additional information like: Operating System and Type (x??), which version of uTorrent (x?? when there are x32 and x64 versions), what the error windows says about the eror (all of it), using WiFi (download it again or at a cable connection and try again, might be damaged by whatever the reason is)?

How to find the OS and OS Type on Windows:

Start/My Computer (right click on it)/Properties and a window will be opened, here you can find the Windows version and Service Pack (SP) information, below you will find Type x??.

Other OS's, Google for it.

When did it happen, which program did you install before it happen, an update, a Windows Update, etc, etc.

How to find the program that has the .dll error information:

Google the error information, mostly you will get the information about the program that uses the .dll. Might be that the error information already gives you the information which program it is.
Now, search at Program Files or Program Files (x86) for it, when it is installed in Program Files (x86), it is a x32 type and when in Program Files, it is a x64 tye.

Well,

Hopefully I let you known enough, that you will find the answers you seek! :)

Good luck & have fun doing it! :)

Best Regards,
