Hi,

I just bought a new TV and I want to make it wall-mounted because I live in a chamber and I don't have a lot of place. Since I don't have enough space for a TV stand, I was thinking about putting a shelf on the wall. I need to place the digital decoder and my PS3 on it.

What should I do ? Since I have an Ikea near my house, what could I do there ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

if you have a very small space then wall mounting your tv is a good idea.

just for clarification here: do buy a wall mount for your tv and do not put it up on a shelf. i would buy a quality unit and not just the cheapest thing you can buy. expect to pay $100-180 depending on how big your tv is for something with quality.

if you have an ikea near your house you could take a trip down and look at shelving. any which you feel are pretty sturdy and can handle at least 50 pounds should be good (yes i realize you wont be putting this much weight on them... but you want it to be sturdy). buy something which matches your decor. you could also go to walmart or other stores but you wont have the selection that you would at ikea.
