Hey
guys
i currently own an envy 15 with following
SPECS.2.2GHZ COREI7 (4702MQ)
8GB DDR3,750GBHDD+24GB SSD,15.6"
FULL HD SCREEN(1920X1080)
2GB NVIDIA GT740M WITH INTEL 4600 SWITCHABLE GRAPHICS

My brother had and g75vw model with an nvidia gpu chipset
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Update-Review-Asus-G75VW-T1040V-Notebook.76032.0.html
he threw that away as he got a new toy to play with

so i was thinking of replacing my gpu with that of asus as it clearly boosts better performance
but im thinking of bios issues
which i have no clue
for that i turn towards you guys for advice

Solution
Well, physically, if it works I don't see why not. Although HP pulls some weird stuff with their BIOSes, so you may want to get a hacked BIOS to make the upgrade compatible. Another issue would be whether the cooling system is up for it; the only way to find out is to stick it in there.
