So basically, I was looking at this: Sager NP9570 versus Sager NP9377 and was thinking that it might be a good idea to get that, for the epic devils canyon processor (desktop), but is it worth 500 dollars for that? and also, would this be a better buy than them both? MSI GT60 DominatorPro 3K-475?
As for why the CPU is so important for primarily a gaming computer, the reason is that the game, rome 2 total war, is very cpu intensive. NOTE: Both sagers have gtx 880m sli but the dominator has only a single gtx 880m, i will keep my laptop for at least 4 years....
Which Sager or the MSI, and if you don't mind, why? Thanks in advance! :)

For that game, I think either one is going to handle Rome Total War 2 without issue. I also agree that I don't think its worth the 500 dollar difference. I'm not typically a fan of investing so much in a gaming laptop in general since price for power desktop always wins.

BUT, if I were to choose, NP9377. If price is not a concern though, go NP9570.

If you actually research those models, one literally uses a desktop processor socket, while the other literally uses a laptop processor socket. Thats not unheard of, if vendors can somehow utilize a desktop processor socket in a motherboard design, then why not?
