I have a brand new Lenovo Y510p with an i7 4700MQ, GT 755M (Not SLI), Win8 64bit, 8 GB RAM, and 1 TB HDD.
The thing is, not even a month has passed since I bought it, and the temperatures of my CPU and GPU (both integrated and dedicated) are very high. I don't know if its because of my surroundings temperature or what, but this temperatures are bad for business. Can someone help me with this problem?

My current Temperatures, what I'm doing right now:
Chrome: Soundcloud, Facebook and Tom's Hardware.
Fraps.
Full Brightness.
Not plugged in (even if I am, it doesn't change anything).

P.S. This doesn't show my Intel HD Graphics, but that too stays around 60-80C

Please help me out with this, I know this is serious.
Peace!

4th Gen Haswell CPU's are overheating nightmares. I think the max safe zone is 90c. Make sure it doesn't go beyond that.

With the i7 Haswell you really have no choice but to use extreme cooling measures. You should have a Laptop cooler and make sure the room which your in has plenty of cool air.

I'd advise you to use another screen and watch the temperature of your CPU.

If your gaming or processing heavy loads I suggest you dive into the world of extreme cooling techniques. Haswell CPU's are too much trouble.
