Hi,
I recently bought this Acre Aspire V3-772G laptop for £1000 from PC World. It's been working fine, but recently whenever I play games (Such as League of Legends) I experience drastic FPS drops.

I've taken it to the shop and they've used compressed air to clean the fan, and changed the battery usage to 'High Performance', but this hasn't helped. I also keep a USB fan to make sure the laptop doesn't overheat.

The FPS drops are really weird - I start off with around 100fps and then it'll drop to about 20fps for a few seconds, then back to 60fps, and then the drops keep happening. The specs are as follows:

Intel Core i7-4702MQ 2.2GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz
NVidia GeForce GT 750M (4GB i believe)
12GB DDR3 Memory
1000 GB HDD

If you need anything else please let me know!
:) Thanks

Download GPU-Z and check the gfx and cpu(integrate graphics) temp. If the temp is very high when fps drops, the heat will be the problem.

Try another way: use a vacuumer at home to clean the ventilation holes of ur laptop, any holes u could see through the side and the bottom of ur laptop.

Generally Intel CPU are manufactured in 22nm and GT 750M is 28nm, and therefore they should produce less heat than previous gen laptop. So if overheat the laptop cooling is to blame.
