Component cable as speaker wire?

Each component video cable has 2 conductors but coax cables are thin and have a lot of capacitance. That can cause the amplifier to oscillate and shut down or blow up so you have to be careful. There used to be a product by MIT called the Tmax that would convert a coax cable to speaker cable use but that has not been made in quite a while.

if the component cables arent secured inside the walls (stapled to the studs) you might be able to use them to help pull speaker wire.
personally i wouldnt trust using them as speaker wire. i would use the correct gage wire for your speaker wattage and cable length.
