I have this new sony led tv and old sony home theater which does not have HDMI port. My sonly tv has only one RCA/component port. I have connected my cable set top box to this RCA/component connection, so I do not have any more TV input connection available for home theater. So can I use RCA/HDMI combination cable to connect home theater RCA port to my TV's HDMI port?

You can't use a cable but could use a converter box like this:

I would suggest that you get a cable box with HDMI, which your cable provider should supply you free, and then you can just connect the HTib to the component input. You will get a better picture on cable with the HDMI and it will cost you nothing.
