Hello, I have a Lenovo g550 laptop with windows home premium 32 bit.
I would like to sell it, and I need to erase all my files/programs.
How would I go about doing this?
I am scared I will lose the OS and have to buy a new one.
Thanks Jacob.

If you're going to sell it, sell it with the OS.
Either the factory reset, or just a clean install of the OS with the original license key.

1. It would sell for far less without it
2. That key is licensed to that laptop. Trying to use it elsewhere is either impossible or a real PITA. That license is useless on anything else.

Does the restore partition still exist? On boot, there should be a Fn key to invoke that function. That will wipe everything and restore it back to as it came from the store.
