I'm planning to buy a laptop for playing games at medium settings at 30-40 FPS.
This is the laptop that I'm planning to buy:

HP 450 G1 Laptop:
1. i7 4702Q With Intel HD Graphics 4600 (upto 3.2GHz, 6M cache, 4 Cores)
2. AMD Radeon HD 7650M 2GB
3. 6GB DDR3l SDRAM
4. 1TB HDD
5. HD Webcam
6. Screen = 15.6" diagonal LED-backlit HD anti-glare (1366 x 768)

I want to be able to be able to play these games at Low-Medium-High settings with 35-40 FPS
1. ArmA II / ArmA III
2. Battlefield 3 / Battlefield 4
3. CoD : Ghosts / CoD : Advanced Warfare
4. Batman Arkham Knight (When it releases)
5. Watch Dogs (When it releases)
6. Planetside 2
7. Dota 2

How will this laptop, stand up to these games? I already have a gaming rig, so this for portability and for taking it to friends house to continue my adventure in the digital world with my friends...
I will not and can not spend any more on a laptop. its either this or no laptop...

that graphics chip is exceptionally weak.
it will play battlefield 3 at low - so i doubt it'll even play battlefield 4 at all.
I doubt it'll be able to play many upcoming games at all.
if you tell us your budget we could potentially find something a bit more powerful?

Well this laptop costs at 1200 USD, so...

Please do not buy that - if you do it's just wasted money, that laptop is barely worth half that. Have a look at these.

all of these are around $1200 (+or - $50
if you need any further help just ask
any of these will run your games at medium 1080p with max AA or better. the best can run it all at max / ultra.
select one, and I will help you with your config :)

dasul is definitely right. With that graphics card, it can't really play most of those games, even at the lowest resolution. In America, that laptop would be considered a ripoff.

Check out this website, I don't know the prices, but here in America it's lower than $1200.

I had given my requirements to this company which, orders or makes pc according to it. i needed a laptop, so this is the specs they gave me. i just checked on hp's website, the graphic card that comes with this laptop is the 8750m. i think they have made a mistake. hopefully the 8750m is the gfx coming with this laptop...

So if the 8750m is the GFX coming with this laptop... What do you think are its chances of playing these games...

Well the 8750m is better than the 7650m, but isn't really able to play most of those games at high settings for sure.
Like Planetside 2, you'll be able to play medium on the lowest resolution, but the resolution really takes the gameplay in my opinion.
It still won't be able to play Battlefield 4 at the lowest settings and the lowest resolution, but can play Battlefield 3 at medium settings at the lowest resolution.
I hope that gives you a picture on the performance.

Look at the games and at which settings it can play...
It says it can play BF4 at low and medium fine...

I used a different source than you
The one I used stated that it would be hard to use on those settings.

If you already knew how to find out it would perform, then why did you ask us? :p
If you think that it'll work, then go for it
I also noticed that most of your posts on this thread end with
....
xD

I just wanted to be sure before making a commitment, to this laptop. Even though it says it can play etc., a second opinion is always beneficial. Thanks anyway.

And for that '...', I have a habit of putting that... :p

Actually the company gave me wrong configuration... This is the actual config of this laptop:-
1. i7 4702Q With Intel HD Graphics 4600 (upto 3.2GHz, 6M cache, 4 Cores)
2. AMD Radeon HD 8750M 2GB GDDR5
3. 8GB DDR3l SDRAM
4. 1TB HDD
5. HD Webcam
6. Screen = 15.6" diagonal LED-backlit HD anti-glare (1366 x 768)

And it runs BF3 on High at 35 Average FPS. BF4 on Medium with 40 FPS... And Planetside 2 runs easily on Ultra at 35 FPS...

Thanks anyway... Still going to end with the '...'... :p :)
