Toshiba A100 + memory upgrade

what would you say I can install as a new operating system in my Toshiba A100 I have upgraded the memory to 2GB but seeing how they are not supporting windows XP any more what would you recommend ?

You should be able to run any Edition of Windows 7, but with a 1.6 Ghz CPU and 2GB of RAM, I'd settle for Windows 7 32 bit Starter, Home Basic or Home Premium... maybe even down to Windows 7 Thin PC for lower resource computers... it should run faster than any other Win7 edition.
