I am still looking for a new laptop for college this fall, trying to keep my budget under $600. I have come upon the Lenovo G510 and was wondering if the specs would be competent enough for LoL and Dofus. I wouldn't be playing on ultra high.
I would buy the model with 8GB of Ram and a 1TB hard drive. The screen resolution is a minor con. If there are any other laptops around this price range with similar specs and maybe a higher screen resolution please let me know. Thanks!

I think LoL should run fine, I'm not for sure about Dofus but I think it'll still run. The Intel GPU's while not the best, are still managable for a few games. If you wanted to game a bit more or saved up a little bit more I'd recommend this:

Which laptop do you have now? A brand that also seems decent is Asus

Originally bought a Y400p, which eventually failed to boot, was repaired poorly and came back with damage. This was replaced with a Y410p, first unit was DOA, second lasted a month, third lasted 3 months. Replaced by a U530, the first of which arrived DOA . It was great for 5 months till the hinge broke (common flaw, poor design), which also caused the screen to crack. Lenovo denied warranty so after all they put me through, I end up with a pile of junk with little value. Avoid the Ideapad line like the plague. This was singularly the worst purchase I ever made. It's cheap poorly made junk. If you must buy Lenovo and I suggest you don't, then buy a Thinkpad!
