What does "Windows 7 Professional 64 (available through downgrade rights from Windows 8 Pro)", mean?

Hey, im planning to buy a new laptop and in the operating system dropbox, its written:-
"Windows 7 Professional 64 (available through downgrade rights from Windows 8 Pro)".

What does this mean? Can some one explain? Thanks!

you get win8 default and are allowed to downgrade it to win7 if you don't like/want win8 and prefer the windows 7

If you get a computer with Win8 Pro, that includes the right to downgrade it to Win7 Pro, or Vista.

It means you have the right to run ( downgrade to ) Windows 7 Pro without extra charge. In short, if you do not want to run Windows 8, then don't and you won't be penalized for it when you select Windows 7 Pro.
