Hi, we have a weekend cabin that has an old analog tube TV, with the basic composite/left/right inputs. We also have a slimline PS2 up there. When we go up there and it rains, the options for entertainment are slim, so I'm looking for a way to display movies up there.
One option is to burn a DVD for each movie, and then use the PS2 to play. This becomes burdensome because of the number of movies to encode and burn to DVD. Plus they end up getting scratched or lost.
Is there a small device that has internal memory, or maybe a USB port, that is compatible with this TV? Maybe even a DVD player with a USB port would work, provided it has composite video out.
I'd hate to have to go out and buy a "smart" TV just to be able to plug in a USB device. I'd like to keep it under $100. Thanks.
