Operating System: Windows 8

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

I don't know why but I feel does not satisfied with the performance from Alienware M17x R5 because it cannot play most of my games (mostly Windows XP and 7 games, although I am using compatibility for Windows XP (Service Pack 3) or Windows 7. I am happy with the fast boot time but I heard that because of Windows 8 features, not Alienware features, but sometimes it could take years to boot (I think it crashed but well for a brand new and overpriced Laptops, is that normal?)

Honestly, I am much more satisfied with my own PC build with Windows 7 (AMD, 600 USD budget, not included software price, such as Operating System) because it's never fails me when playing games (Free freeze) but it does fails me sometimes when open browser (Sometimes it freeze for a while but for 600 USD budget? I think it's normal.) and the funny part is, a overpriced Laptops (2365 USD, perhaps, I don't know the exact price because I am paid it with another currency) fails me in the first impression after I bought it (The Laptops is a factory defective products, when I am turning on the Laptops, it does on but does not on the monitor! so I resend it back and ask for refund but they denied it and send the new one) and lags when play DayZ (I never test DayZ in my own PC build because i never have times for that, after I buy this overpriced Laptops, I also bought DayZ)

I don't know why but do you think this is normal because of the poor quality of Dell products or perhaps this Laptops also a factory defective products and I need to resend it back again?

see that graphics card in the laptop should be slightly beyond a $600 pc - it should be around the level of a r7 260 or so. Have you turned off stealth mode for the laptop? have you made sure that the graphics card is actually working? you should probably stop using xp and stick to windows 8. Have you checked for a driver update? 770M should be playing most games at ultra at 1080p
