which laptop is better for gaming

I am going to buy a gaming laptop for under 45,000 rs but I got confused between these two :-

- HP pavilion 15-n208tx
-lenovo ideapad z500(59-380480)

The HP laptop have a slower CPU as compared to lenovo but it have 2gb nvidia gt 740m whereas the lenovo laptop have faster CPU but just 1gb nvidia gt 740m.

Plz help .

The Intel Core i5 3230M comes out on top when comparing from a purely performance standpoint. However, if you're looking towards a power efficient and portable laptop, then go with the Intel Core i5 4200U.

The 2GB of VRam is useful only if you connect multiple montiors, or in simple means using more than 1 display at a time. Only then you will need the 2gb VRam, else 1Gb is more than enough to power up things. Moreover, it is unclear whether the models used in these laptops are on 64 bit, or 128 bit versions. If it is 64, it will never use even 1 Gb of VRam.

My Advice for you is to go with none of these variants as games now requires more than 4 gb of ram. So go for this instead as it has 6gb ram and 2gb graphics. It is a bit costly but worth the price considering you want it to game.

so,you are saying that lenovo laptop is better for gaming even if it have 1 gb Vram. but i have heard that modern games like watchdogs will need more than 1 gb of vram ,then how will i run watchdogs.
I will upgrade my RAM to 8gb later on.

I never had in mind it running watch dogs. Well, the requirements for watch dogs are way too high. Even a game like COD: Ghosts requires 8 Gb ram, else it wont even starts ! keeping COD in mind, i suggested you that model. Moreover, the model I suggested has 2 Gb graphics too, so its better than the other two you chose earlier.

Also to run watch dogs, your CPU should also be strong. So keeping this too in mind, I suggested you that model as its 3rd gen CPU is better than the 4th gen.

The problem with upgrading ram later is that we don't get the same module as that in the laptop n it creates problems later.
Well, i can only suggest you things, rest is upto you to decide.

what about HP 15-d103tx Notebook (4th Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Free DOS/ 2GB Graph)?????? Is this better than the two that i have picked???

hence, old choices are good, and the one i suggested u earlier is even more good. but between your old choices, go with the lenovo.
