Dell or HP ?

hie guy, i am thinking o buy a laptop with 3rd gen i3 3110m. my basic needs i want to use laptop for software development (IDE, visual studio 2012, ms sql server and others) and entertainment like music and movies..

i have finalized two laptops

1. HP pavilion 15 d017tu

2. Dell Vostro 2520

i researched and found dell vostro have speakers issues.. i mean the speakers doesnot works after 2-3 months use and also i heard dell does not covers inbuilt speakers in warranty.

and HP has its evergreen heating issue... i am a noob.. this my first laptop i am gonna purchase.. pls help me to make decision and if you have any other alternative in your mind pls suggest. thank you :)

1. The basic difference between the two is the ram, HP has 2 gb while DELL has 4 gb and as you told that you are going to run some softwares like VB etc, then here dell wins.
2. All the parts are covered in DELL warranty as it is a "complete cover" warranty. The only thing why dell would not replace your speakers is if you use VLC media player on volume beyond 100%. so watch for it.
3. If you want or would want to overclock your processor later, then you wont be able to do so on the DELL because of the HM75 chip it uses, while on the HP model, it is possible because of the HM76 chip it uses.

Considering heating issues, all of the laptops heats up pretty quickly. Moreover, the cheaper it is, the more it heats. So both are going to...
