are " souuround sound gaming" headphones any better than normal headphones??

i have a pair of pillips over ears and theyre ok.. would a pair of logitech g930s be better? or something like them

Being "surround" is usually a gimmick, as the vast majority of these headphones come with two speakers, employing software techniques that simulate more speakers. This simulation is usually crappy, and even if not, they can be done on pretty much any headphones.

That does not mean the headphones are bad because of that. The g930s seem to be very good ones. I have the Sony Pulse Elites and love them.

what headphones really need is a r/l slider. tired of having more sound over the left side or right side. (balance control)

will the be better than mormal ol music headphones. my tv is hard to hear dialogue at low volumes and loud LOUD LOUD on effects. annoying. esp at night. so i usually HAVE TO have subtitles.

there should be something there or a setting so voice isn't louder or sounds aren't louder.

razer synapsis is something i just found and it will make normal good music headphones have a nice surround sound feel. and they have volume control for movies tht works on my tv also. it works with AN old headphones you have laying around. i might get a pair of logitech g930s later down the road. tired of the cord. . .
