This laptop around $900 seems really good, I don't want any SLI with its common overheating problems, so the lenovo y510p wasn't for me.
I was just wondering if there is any other better gaming laptop around that price that's good without SLI? Notebookcheck.com gave it nice reviews but said the noise is really loud (about 45 decibels) when running video games, can somebody give me an idea of what that noise is like compared to lenovo y510p's 35 decibel sound?

Go for the Y510p. I don't know where you saw that it came with stock SLI but they don't. It's an added option it has. I always recommend the 510's to people because in their range they are by far the best I've seen. Buy one, trust me it's not going to be SLI'd. I'd personally recommend the one for 899 dollars, it has a 24 gig ssd for a boot drive.

Edit- Also, if I was going to recommend the Clevo, I'd still tell you to buy a cooling pad to keep it cool under high loads- mostly if your gaming hardcore on it.
