Hello guys, I know all I need about building a gaming computer, recently I changed motherboard and CPU, and decided to add a Sound card with the money i had left, what i need now is to get some nice speakers to pair up with my brand new sound card XD, right now I've had the Logitech Z-2300 speakers for some years now but I think there are better speakers for my sound card now.

The main thing im doing now with my pc is listening to music its like 70%-30% music being 70 and gaming 30 of the time im on the pc.

So If you could please give me some guidance on this aspect it would be highly appreciated

my max budget would be 200$ max, taxes and shipping to where I live increase prices by a considerable margin, if there is something a little bit cheaper but as good it would be awesome XD haha, but $200 max.

Thanks

as i said... the harmon kardon soundsticks iii dont have the punchyness of the logitechs but are a bit more refined sounding.

the creative t20 or t40 lack a subwoofer so are light on bass but also get good marks for quality.

the jbl creature iii is also well known for being good.

just because they are capable of more volume doesnt mean they are bad. a hifi system (buying two speakers and an amp) can sound equally refined if you pick the right speakers. the amp would connect up like normal speakers do so its really not all that different.
you could buy some bookshelf speakers and a stereo amplifier to hook up.

not sure where you live and speaker brands differ by area. if europe for 100gbp ($168) you can get a pair of wharfdale diamond 10.0 and a stereo amp with there rest for about $200 not counting shipping.

quite a bit louder and likely just a bit more refined than pc speakers.

if you wanted to stay with pc speakers... what you have now is pretty decent but the 2.1 system corsair has out gets pretty good reviews and mind be a worthwhile upgrade. getting them for $200 though is going to be a real issue.

the new version of the the z2300 (the z623) isnt at the same level as the original.

the harmon kardon soundsticks iii are good as well and for music may sound better but they dont have the punch that the logitech set does so if pure volume is your thing then you might want to look elsewhere.
