Need it for normal use, moderate latest gaming (because of my budget, though I have a good desktop at home)

Should I buy a laptop having a good processor like i5 4200M (2.5GHz, upto 3.1GHz) or will i5 4200U (1.6GHz upto 2.6GHz) or i5 3230M (2.6GHz upto 3.2 GHz) will do the job?

Can't customise a laptop here in India...

When I choose 1st option from below...graphic card is not that good (NVIDIA GeForce 820M)...

Same issue with 2nd option (AMD Mobility Radeon HD 8670M)...

3rd option has a better graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M) but not a powerful processoor like 1st one...Therefore I look forward an answer which helps me maximize the efficiency among the three options....

PLS HELP!!

Solution
The first one with the i5 and 820M will get you the best gaming performance, but it has FreeDOS. You'll need to get your own copy of Windows to install if you want to game on it.

None of those laptops are good for gaming, unfortunately.

Hey there, I've been in the laptop market myself and just wanted to share the one thing I'm sure about from my point of view.

After debating all about processors, price, battery, etc. And then finally making a purchase and working with the machine for a few hours setting it up last night. The one thing I'm absolutely sold on is this:

If you are going to ever be running Windows 8, I absolutely, positively, STRONGLY suggest any laptop purchased at this point in time MUST have a touchscreen!

I don't click on links very often, so I didn't check out your choices, but I just wanted to share my opinion on this one thing. I think it is possibly the more important feature of any laptop that one would purchase at this point in the evolution of technology!

I ordered it, and it works great for me...
Hope u can help on this one too..
I was able to find all the drivers on HP website..but there's one hardware named QUALCOMM ATHEROS Model: QCWB335 (WLAN)..
Can u help me find the driver? Also on my keyboard, Wifi is indicated on F12 key (with a red light)..Is this key meant to switch wifi ON or OFF after driver install?
My OS- Windows 8.1, 64 bit
Thnx in advance :)

Advice well appreciated :) Thnks..but don't need touch

Yes: if there is an icon on the F12 key implying WiFi control, that is a toggle to enable or disable your wireless internet card (WLAN). In fact, you may already have the driver installed and you just need to enable your WiFi with that key. Our systems are similar; the webcam will not show up in Device Manager unless it is enabled by using the keyboard.

Hopefully that helps. :)
