Does anyone know of any thin, high performance laptops that are roughly $900-$1500 +/- $300? Along with not being associated with Apple.

I know of the following:
MSI GS70
MSI GS60
Razer Blade

I don't love MSI products. I would then say Razer Blade, but if you really want performance, you will have to sacrifice thin. You cannot SLI GPUs in thin laptops, as well as other problems. I use a Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch, wich I would recommend, but you said Apple was not an option. However, you can erase the Mac partition and install Windows as the OS with very little hassle.

Said products are really among the highest performance laptops in their "class," as far as physical dimensions go. SLI offers good performance, but it's definitely not a necessity and is not always fully realized/utilized by software. Due to thermal activity, only so much headroom can be reduced. I think the GS60 GhostPro and Razer Blade will offer you the most as far as graphical capabilities go.

Windows isn't friendly with mac products. I got experience with that with our all-in-one macs with windows 7 on them at out school. Yeah i figured my 3 options were almost the best, I'm simply seeing if I am missing any laptops.

Part of that is a driver issue, as they can be tricky to find and the other part is that I dont love the consumer level Macs, I.E. the non pro models.
