I am thinking of buying a laptop for $600: ASUS R510DP-FH11 Notebook AMD A-Series

Which will be decent enough for playing games on, but I also want to use it for 3D Modelling. Before I get it I'd like to know whether it will be good for that kind of thing.

Applications I might use:

-Modo

-3Ds Max

-Blender

-League of Legends

Thanks :)

Is this the laptop you're talking about?

It seems like a good budget gaming laptop, and I think it will be fine for 3D modelling.

I know you said modelling, but if you plan on rendering with the GPU (it's usually faster then the CPU), you need nVidia. If this is not an issue for you, don't worry about it.

Here's a thread about that laptop's GPU's gaming performance:

Hope this helps! (I use Blender, too.)
