1. What is your budget?
Rs. 40000 ... can go up to 50000 if worth it.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Would prefer something small(<=14 inch) for portability as most of the times would be hooking it to external monitor. Minimum of 11 inch.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
1366x768 should be fine.... but I don't want 1024x768.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable.
5. How much battery life do you need?
As much as possible.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No games at all.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Mostly business stuff, accounting software, spreadsheets, browsing with multiple tabs, large pdf files etc.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
I would be happy with 128 GB. If possible at all, SSD would be better.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Any Indian online seller or any physical store in New Delhi, India.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
As long as it lasts me... at least 5-7 years.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVD ROM is fine, although I have an external and don't really use CD's so no issues.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
No preference... anything which is trustworthy.
13. What country do you live in?

I would like something fast, at least 4 GB RAM and the fastest possible available.
Would prefer Intel over AMD. Windows 8.1/Windows 7 are both good enough and touch screen is not needed. CPU should be an i5 if possible, but willing to go with anything that will run everything I need to do (mentioned in point 7. above) smoothly and crisply.
