Don't get a laptop just build a gaming desktop. Here is about the best computer you can get for that money.

I didnt choose a mouse because I figured you would want to pick your own mouse.

Desktop is the best. But if you travel a lot and want portability. Then you should look at alienware 18 with gtx 880m sli. That is as fast as portable gaming laptop goes. It fits in your budget too.

Well first of all why get a 2nd gen i7 ? And not a 4th gen i7 which is cheaper and better performing ?
Cpu cooler , nothing to say 'bout it , good quality .
Now the motherboard , why get that msi z77 mobo ? Going for an asus z77 one would be cheaper and better performing
Now the ram , why such low quality ram ? For just a few more bucks he could have get one of the ripjaws x series kit
ssd , nothing to say 'bout it , again high quality and performs well
hdd nothing to say 'bout it once again
now why SLI and not get a 780/780 Ti and sli these later ? it will give overall better performance and cause less heat
Now the case , that case is expensive . You could have gone for a cheaper one that has as good airflow as the 900D
the psu ... 1200W is just OVERKILL even for those two 770's . 850 w is enough .
od , could have gone for a 30$ cheaper od
now why get 2 1080 p monitors rather than a 1440p monitor ? and those 770's won't be performing too good in 3840x1080

getting the most expensive parts isn't always better

On that build, wouldn't 2 way SLI with the 770 be even better? I dont know if you are going to be recording minecraft game play. If you are if you want great FPS while recording with shaders running maybe the SLI with the 770 would be faster.
