A8-4500m is socketed. The APUs would be socket compatible. Just make sure to look around and see if there's anywhere you can buy your model of laptop with that APU- it means that it may be compatible. The problem, if any, would be your BIOS- it may not support that chip. See if the chipset supports richland, and since HP tends to reuse its BIOS, if the chipset is compatible, I'd go for it. Just remember that it will be somewhat difficult to replace, and there's a high chance of breaking something.
