My sister has started playing skyrim with her sony vaio laptop. Definitely the ideal PC of course, but on lowest settings it was just about playable. But now that she's playing it more and has a few small mods, it really isn't working, so I wondered if getting another 4gb of ram would improve it? It only has 4 at the moment. Also wondered if a better upgrade would be a new CPU, but the chipset is intel and I know they are much more expensive than AMDs so it would be around £120 for a decent upgrade from her i3 (which is 2.3 ghz I think but still terrible). So would it be worth getting some more RAM or would that not make any difference and she'd need to get a new processor?
