What Laptop Should I Get?

I have £250(Which is around $420) and I need a new laptop. All I will use it for is watching movies and maybe word processing.Does anyone have any suggestions to meet my needs? Thanks in advance

Wow, you can get a used laptop that will run movies for under 100 pounds on eBay. Get a Intel Core 2 with at least 2 gb ram, and of course a dvd player. Buying used computers is like buying used cars. Waaaaay better value. If you know what to look for. I recently got an Asus laptop with an Intel i5 cpu, 8gb ram,500gb hard drive for $165 including postage. It needed a power plug fixed but the part cost me $4. It was a month past the 1yr warranty when I bought it.

get a chromebook? acer c720 is a good bet. the UK sort of sucks for used laptops.
