Okay so, i have just built my own gaming pc. Now my dad wants to start paying money for a Anti-Virus software which is McAfee. I have told him that the free version of Avast is better than the paid version of McAfee, he also thinks that if i use free versions of an anti-virus software hackers will be able to get my IP and do stuff etc.. -_-
Now do you think i need a paid anti-virus software (which does basically the same as the free one)?
Or just get the free one of Avast since i use it on my older laptop?
Please give as much feedback as possible, i need to persuade him that Avast is best!
