i am currently using the sound blaster Z, i am just wondering if it good enough for the headphones. Or are there better headphones.

Hi Iskaiel,
These are awesome for headphones only i use these and they well worth a look , good bass and highs , no distortion etc and exceptionally comfortable even for hours of use , will save you some money aswell

the soundblaster z card should drive beyer 250ohm headphones fine.

the dt880 250 is a good pair of headphones. remember the ones you picked are semi-open which means you will be able to hear a bit more of what is outside the headphones and other people can hear a bit of what you listen to. the benefit is that you have a wider soundstage (sound is more 3d-ish).
